Talisman Licensing has secured Hardie Grant Egmont as publishing partner for the Forever Clover property.
The first multi-territory licensee for the girl brand, the company will produce all publishing lines under novelisation, activity and novelty. Colour and activity lines are due to launch at Frankfurt Book Fair later this year, with a series of novels - each dedicated to one of the six Forever Clover characters - to roll out in 2013.
At the same time, the second series of 128 swap cards will launch in Australia in April 2012.
"With such a solid base and multi-territory potential with Hardie Grant Egmont, we could not be off to a better beginning as we develop the licensing and brand extension on this fabulous and fresh brand for young girls," said Daniel Feller, director of Talisman Licensing. "We have seen the success in so many brands in novelisation and wider publishing for this age group in the past five years, and now we have the opportunity to build on the solid base created in Australia in swap cards.
"We are developing television under the brand for global distribution later in 2013 and licensing will also follow. The key is the slow build and we are thrilled to work with our friends and colleagues at Hardie Grant Egmont to create the best possible base for our programme."
