Oren will launch the US and Canadian licensing programmes for The Nutcracker movie as part of his new role.
Oren will also create strategic licensing programmes for shows developed by Target's Children's and Family Programming division and acquire other brands, whicn need third party representation as well as managing agents in Latin America, previously handled by the London Office.
Helen Howells, director, International Licensing said: "This appointment marks another major step in the continuous growth of Target's licensing business. Richard brings with him a wealth of experience and his enthusiasm and energy for this challenging role is second to none. We are absolutely delighted to have him on board".
Oren, who has previously worked as licensing director at HBO and brand manager at Jim Henson Company, will report to Howells.
