Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Donatello was on hand at last month’s London Comic Con to help fans celebrate the latest movie, Out of the Shadows.

The life-sized ninja played a starring role at the expo held on May Bank Holiday, offering fans and attendees the chance to grab a picture with the hero of newest TMNT film that landed in cinemas earlier this month.

The photo opportunity was set up by toy firm GP Flair who created the experience to drive engagement with its new toy line inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Targeting the adult collector’s market, the stand was a return visit for Flair who had previously exhibited at the October 2015 show.

The firm enjoyed a footfall of 135,000 visitors over three days, offering enthusiasts a first look at the new figures, vehicles and role-play items.

Anne-Marie Noon, boys marketing manager at Flair, said: “We are thrilled with how well the event went and it was a perfect opportunity to showcase our entire movie portfolio to the consumers over three days.

“The Turtles toy range is ever evolving and with the event falling a few days before the movie release, it was an easy decision to exhibit at Comic Con once more.

“With such a huge footfall, sales were high and overall it was a very successful event for Flair.”
