Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has returned to the top of the UK box office.

Screen reports that Paramount's TMNT reboot added £1.42 to its total last weeekend.

The film has now taken £11.77m in the UK in three weeks it has been on release.

This coming weekend sees it face competition for the number one spot in the form of Christopher Nolan's sci-fi epic, Interstellar.
