Televisa Consumer Products has partnered up with Exim Licensing Group, with representation secured in Buenos Aires from May 1st.
"We want to offer the million consumers in Argentina the best products and high quality services with their favourite characters," said Maca Rotter Alday, general director of TCP. "In this new liaison, TCP will contribute its expertise in managing properties within the 360 model that has characterised our contents."
This is the latest move in Televisa's global expansion, with a US office having recently been opened in Miami, Florida. Televisa will be directly licensing brands which have been specifically created for the Hispanic market in the US.
Up until last year, the firm was represented by agents throughout the US.
