Comic book icons Dennis the Menace, Gnasher, Bananaman and Desperate Dan will feature in a range of new car air fresheners.
The characters, from the popular Beano and Dandy children's comics, have been licensed by DC Thomson for developer 151 Products.
The Manchester-based company has designed, developed and produced the range of car air fresheners, which will be available in both hanging cardboard and sticky gel varieties. Scents include Vanilla, Berry Blast, Coconut and Banana.
Richard Shonn, MD of 151 Products, said: “DC Thomson’s instantly-recognisable brands appeal to both adults and children alike, and the range will also offer retailers fun and popular products that fit perfectly into a market that continues to go from strength to strength.”
Ian Downes from Start Licensing added: “The Beano and The Dandy have established themselves as one of the UK’s most popular brands to generations and guaranteed to provide fun and laughter with nationwide recognition and appeal.
"151 Products development of their car air fresheners have captured the brands really well and are a welcome addition to The Beano and Dandy licensing programme.”
