The Copyrights Group hires new head of product development

Demi Patel joins the team in the newly created role from Zodiak Rights.

The Copyrights Group has welcomed Demi Patel to the newly created role of head of product development.

In the new position, Patel (pictured) will oversee all product design and development, working alongside creative director, Linda Pooley.

Patel boasts extensive experience having worked with a number of award-winning properties throughout her licensing career.

She most recently ran the creative services team at Zodiak Rights, where for over five years she worked with such brands as Waybuloo, Mister Maker and Tickety Toc.

Patel has also held positions with BBC Worldwide, having a hand in the launch of the popular In The Night Garden.

Pooley said: “Demi brings with her a wealth of industry experience and we are thrilled to have such a well regarded and enthusiastic individual join the team.”
