The Dog heads to mobile

Connect2Media, 4Kids and Artlist team for new mobile device content.

4Kids Entertainment and Artlist have appointed Connect2Media to produce content for mobile devices based on The Dog.

Connect2Media - based in Manchester in the UK - develops and publishes interactive entertainment across multiple platforms including mobile, web and interactive TV.

The deal for The Dog is the first in a series of acquisitions and products that the firm will be revealing over the next few months.

"The Dog is a very strong franchose and we are delighted to be able to bring it to mobile," said Connect2Media CEO Eric Hobson. "The unique aesthetic of the licence, combined with its universal appeal, makes it an attractive proposition in the virtual pet category, a sector that is sparsely populated in the mobile world."
