US-based licensing and brand management firm memBrain is to represent girl dance band, The Pussycat Dolls.
The firm is planning to extend the lifestyle brand into relevant product categories including apparel, active wear, lingerie, footwear, accessories, beauty, gaming and more.
Created by choreographer, dancer and clothing designer Robin Anton in 1995, The Pussycat Dolls began as an all-girl burlesque troupe, performing in clubs throughout LA. They were signed to Interscope Records in 2003 and became a music franchise consisting of a rotating performance troupe of five female singers/dancers.
The new merchandise will be designed to appeal to the group's global fanbase, as well as 'confident women of all ages worldwide'.
"The Pussycat Dolls brand is globally recognised as a leading force in beauty, dance and female empowerment, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to join Robin's team on this next chapter in the brand's incredible journey; introducing a wide range of products capturing the essence of what made The Pussycat Dolls such a global sensation," said Jennifer Sullivan, president of memBrain.
