Snowman Enterprises has teamed up with the Emirates Air Line to launch a unique Christmas experience.
For the first time, specially reworked footage of The Snowman and The Snowdog - with its official soundtrack - will be exclusively available to passengers on the cable car.
The 'flying in the air' film sequence will run on the Emirates Air Line from December 13th to January 4th. The film has been given a twist, capturing the characters flying around the Emirates Air Line and over other famous London landmarks such as the O2, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Greenwich Royal Naval College and the Thames Barrier.
As part of the experience, 15,000 goodie bags for children will be given away. Treats include a chocolate Snowman, The Snowman and The Snowdog character masks, in-flight binoculars and an i-spy challenge. Families can also have their photo taken with a lifesize model of The Snowman before their flight.
Tickets can be booked at www.emiratesairline.theo2.co.uk.
"The Snowman and The Snowdog is an iconic Christmas film and we are delighted to be able to bring the story to life for our passengers, as they fly like the characters over our capital city," said Danny Price, Tfl's head of Emirates Air Line.
Damian Treece, brand manager at Snowman Enterprises, added: "We were delighted when Emirates Air Line approached us with regards to incorporating The Snowman and The Snowdog as part of their Christmas activity.
"There is an obvious synergy between what this experience will offer consumers and the magical attributes of our well-loved characters. The Emirates Air Line experience will bring another opportunity for families to engage with the world of The Snowman and The Snowdog."
