The Teletubbies are returning to Butlins this year with a live show that will star the Tiddlytubbies for the first time on the brand’s history.

The new show, Teletubbies’ Big Play Date features new music as part of a 20 minute live performance that calls for children to join in with a variety of fun games from tickling to dress up.

It is the first live show to feature the Tiddlytubbies, eight smaller Teletubbies who regularly feature in the new television series.

Butlin’s managing director, Dermot King, said: “The Teletubbies proved hugely popular in 2017, not only with our younger guests but also with their parents – no doubt most of whom have very happy memories of them from their own childhood.

“We are delighted to welcome them back again for 2018, with a new show that will once again be fun and entertaining for the whole family.”

Danielle Tanton, global live events and attractions manager for DHX Brands, added: “Following a year of Big Parties with the Teletubbies, we are delighted to introduce a brand new 20-minute show for 2018 which invites children to join the Teletubbies on their Big Play Date.

“Following the themes of the new TV series, the show is filled with friendship, songs, games, dancing, big hugs and laughter and will have children jumping from the start with their Teletubby friends.”
