Zodiak Kids has signed new deals that will see its popular pre-school property, Tickety Toc, expand across France, Spain and Portugal.

Spain's free TV children's broadcaster Clan TV has signed with the brand, which will make its debut on the channel in January 2014.

Zodiak Kids has also appointed licensing agency Biplano to represent the brand across Spain, Portugal and France.

Tickety Toc currently airs in France on Nick Jr and France 5. The series also transmits in Spain on Nick Jr.

Zodiak Kids recently announced that it has inked a new acquisition deal with global partner Nickelodeon for a further 26 episodes and three half-hour specials.

Jennifer Lawlor, senior vice president of consumer products, Zodiak Kids, said: "We are delighted that Tickety Toc is joining the strong portfolio of properties that Biplano represents in Southern Europe.

"We are confident that our property is in good hands and we look forward to working with the Biplano team to build the Tickety Toc CP programme in France and Iberia.

"We are also pleased to announce Clan TV as a second broadcast partner in Spain.”

Tickety Toc joins Biplano's established licensed portfolio that includes titles such as Teletubbies, SpongeBob Squarepants and Lord of the Rings.

Jordi Rey, Managing Director of Biplano, said: "Biplano is convinced that Tickety Toc is a brand that will succeed in the Iberian and French market due to its universal appeal, first class preschool animation and its immersive and educational content.

"We are confident that the know-how of Biplano and the quality of the show will result in a successful licensing campaign."
