Animation production studio Toei will be showcasing its catalogue at the Dubai International Character & Licensing Fair in the UAE for the next few days.
The show runs from October 28th to October 30th and is the first international festival of its kind in the UAE and in the entire Middle East. It is expected to attract over 250 international and regional companies, plus 10,000 visitors from around the world.
DCLF 08 will be focusing on international cartoon character animations, technical, cultural, educational, movie, entertainment, games, information technology, multimedia and arts.
Toei will be looking to take advantage of the expected footfall, presenting Dragon Ball, One Piece, the Pretty Cure series and the Digimon series, as well as other properties from its extensive line-up.
"We are very excited to present our animated series during this event," said Kanji Kazahaya, director of international at Toei. "We believe that we will enhance our presence and develop our new business through this event and there is big potential in the Middle Eastern market."
