Toonami will launch in Asia at the start of next month.
The new action adventure TV channel from Turner will arrive on December 1st.
Turner says Toonami is "a truly multiplatform experience, and goes beyond the typical barriers of a traditional TV channel – this is a brand created for fans, by fans."
The multi-language channel will feature top shows including Young Justice, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Dragon Ball Z.
Viewers are also encouraged to submit story ideas and participate in competitions. Toonami will also be supplemented by apps, games and websites.
Toonami is Turner’s latest extension to its growing portfolio for younger audiences, which includes Cartoon Network, Pogo, Boomerang and Cartoonito. Toonami will initially be available in markets including Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
Sunny Saha, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Entertainment Networks, Turner International Asia Pacific Limited, said: "We’re offering kids in Asia something unique – the chance to tune in and watch their favourite superheroes on a dedicated channel.
"Toonami’s launch brings Turner’s kids and entertainment brands to the next level. Interactive tools make it possible to really push the limits of fan engagement and redefine viewing around the region."
Toonami is operated and distributed in Asia by Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific, Inc., a Time Warner Company.
