GMTV has revealed that its new Toonattik website has attracted over a million visits in its first four weeks - notching up 330,000 unique users.
After bringing the website production in-house prior to its relaunch, the new Toonattik site has introduced a number of new games and the chance to join by creating a spy profile, as well as the opportunity to design an avatar, generate teams and compete with others, playing games to earn points.
The site has seen a growth in visits, unique users and page views from the old site. In particular, a four times growth in unique users, growing from 56,000 to 265,000 across a four-week period, month on month.
"It's been great to see the new website have such a warm welcome from the Toonattik viewers," said digital project manager, Gemma Smith. "We have aimed to bring familiar content from the TV show to the web, giving our viewers the opportunity to replicate Toonattik gameplay in an online environment.
"We look forward to continuing to grow the site and providing an even more immersive extension to the Toonattik TV show."
