Zodiak Kids' popular children's series Totally Spies is making waves through Southern Europe with a new dedicated Italian website and the launch of Season 6 on Spanish television.

The animated series - produced by Zodiak Kids company, Marathon Media - is the first property to launch a dedicated site on Italian broadcaster Super TV's portal, www.supertv.it.

The new site allows fans to download wallpaper and colouring pages, as well as online puzzles and games based on the series.

The Italian website is being promoted both on Super TV and other related Totally Spies sites.

Meanwhile, Spanish children's channel Super3 launched Season 6 of the animation with a marathon broadcast promotion of twelve new episodes as well as Totally Spies The Movie. The promotion saw a lift of 40 per cent in ratings across the launch.

The children's show will also be added to Super3's portal, www.super3.cat - offering fans a collection of activities.

Francis Humble, assistant head of acquisitions responsible for TV3 Televisio de Catalunya's output on its Super3 children's club, portal and channel, said: "Call it serendipity, or sheer excellence, but Marathon, Tele-Images and now Zodiak have always had the knack of connecting with our viewers, from flagship long-running blockbusters such as Totally Spies to hit newcomers such as Rekkit Rabbit.

"Ask me to bet blind on any producer/distributor's future product and the choice is clear, Zodiak Kids."

Patricia de Wilde, SVP, consumer products, Zodiak Kids CP Paris, said: "Totally Spies has had really impressive online growth internationally, with over half a million Facebook fans for the TV show and 850K for the Fashion Agents RPG Community.

"These localised sites are a natural progression and will hopefully both build excitement and actively contribute to the success of Season 6."
