Coolabi's new cartoon property Poppy Cat, yet to make its UK debut on the Nick Jr channel, has already brought in four licences for its owner.

The TV IP, based on the book series by UK author Lara Jones, now has a new book publishing tie-in with Macmillan, an ongoing feature in two Redan magazines, a clothing licence for Aykroyd and TDP Licensing Ltd and a games and puzzles licence with Jumbo.

The new book series will be published in autumn 2011, with the magazines slots appearing in Redan's Fun to Learn Friends and Fun to Learn Favourites as of May next year, set to coincide with the series launch.

The nightwear and clothing collection will launch in spring 2012 across most retail channels, as will the Jumbo Games range of jigsaws, puzzles and games for the preschool market.
