Mind Candy has embarked on its licensing push for new property World of Warriors after debuting the brand at last week's Licensing Expo.

The battle strategy game is launching on iOS and Android later this year with the family audience in mind.

After the launch of the game, trading cards, publishing, toys, apparel and accessories will follow throughout 2015 and beyond with further digital and entertainment content planned for 2015/2016.

“Mind Candy had many meetings at the Licensing Expo with key international partners and retailers about the possibilities that exist for the game and the brand,” said chief commercial officer, Darran Garnham.

“With the game launching globally across multiple platforms, Mind Candy can plan multiple market launches simultaneously which is super exciting for us.”

The arrival of World of Warriors helped the Mind Candy stand receive an 'unprecedented amount of visitors' from the UK, US and international territories at last week's Licensing Expo.

“We are thrilled to start having these amazing conversations about World of Warriors and see other people getting excited about the potential for it to develop into a global brand," said Michael Acton Smith, CEO and founder of Mind Candy.

Mind Candy will be announcing key global partnerships for the brand in the coming weeks.
