Treehouse cleans up with new deal

Corus channel secures agreement for licensed bath time products based on key brands.

Canadian firm Nature Clean is to launch a new line of licensed bath time products for kids, after striking a deal with Corus Entertainment's Treehouse channel to use some of its characters.

Treehouse is seen in over eight million homes across Canada with shows including The Backyardigans, Max & Ruby and Franklin the Turtle.

The initial Nature Clean range will include bubble bath, 2-in-1 shampoo, body wash, body lotion, leave-in detangler and foaming hand soap.

"Nature Clean and Treehouse is a natural partnership in so many ways," said Doug Murphy, GM, Corus Kids and president, Nelvana. "It was important for us to ensure that parents understand and appreciate the sensibilities of the Treehouse brand and the outstanding products developed by Nature Clean."
