Turner Broadcasting welcomes new VP of channel marketing and brand management

Lesley Bailey joins firm with experience from Walt Disney and Hit Entertainment.

Turner Broadcasting has created the new role of vice president of channel marketing and brand management for its EMEA business.

Lesley Bailey (pictured) will be responsible for leading the firm's kids channel marketing and brand management strategy. She will report directly to Patricia Hidalgo, SVP content and creative officer, EMEA and will be based in the firm's London office.

Bailey has previously held senior marketing and brand management roles at Walt Disney and Hit Entertainment. She was the launch marketing director for Disney Channels Scandinavia, developed the marketing strategy for free to air Disney Channel Russia, plus also held pan EMEA channel marketing and brand management roles for all Disney Channels.

At HIT, Bailey recently worked on the global Thomas & Friends brand positioning.

"She has fantastic experience within the kids entertainment sector, and will be critical to the growth and development of Turner's brands and businesses."
