Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has named Melissa Tinker as VP of its licensing and merchandise division.

Tinker (pictured) joins the company at a time when it is expanding quickly in the region. This includes the introduction of branded learning centres and themed destinations, in addition to the growth of traditional categories such as toys, apparel, home entertainment, publishing and lifestyle products.

Tinker has over 15 years of experience in the licensing business. She has previously held positions at Chorion in Australia, as SVP of licensing Asia Pacific, and business manager at Haven Licensing.

"Melissa is joining the CNE team at a time of unprecedented growth for our business in Asia," said Sunny Saha, SVP and MD, Entertainment Networks, Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific. "With Melissa's proven track record within the industry, CNE will be taken to even greater heights as she identifies inovative partnerships that create more opportunities for brand engagement."
