Turner CN Enterprises is assembling its licensing partners for fantasy adventure series, The Secret Saturdays, revealing a number of new signings.
Mattel is on board as the master toy licensee and will be producing a wide range of products inspired by the series, including action figures, play-sets and role play items.
The range will roll out nationwide in January, while a selection of items will also be available on kids trading website, Swap It Shop.
Video games publisher D3P launched the official Secret Saturdays video game - The Beast of the 5th Sun - on Nintendo Wii and DS, PS2 and PSP in November, while Rainbow Productions will be producing costume characters to be used in promotional meet and greet events.
Turner is also close to signing deals for celebration cakes, outdoor toys, apparel and footwear in the UK and bags in Spain.
"The excitement is starting to build for The Secret Saturdays retail launch," said Maria Rosaria Milone, commercial director for licensing at Turner CN Enterprises, EMEA. "Our strategy for the brand was to create an immersive programme that gives fans the true Saturdays' experience to battle, collect and discover and with the partners we have on board, we have done just that."
