Turner Broadcasting has revealed its first major pan-EMEA commission for pre-school channel, Cartoonito.
The firm has snapped up 52 x 12-minute episodes of The Ha Ha Hairies from the makers of Grandpa in my Pocket, Adastra. Turner has also secured all licensing and merchandising rights for the series.
The Ha Ha Hairies will debut on Cartoonito across EMEA in 2012, joining the likes of Bananas in Pyjamas (Endemol), Jelly Jamm (Vodka Capital) and Baby Looney Tunes (Warner Bros Animation).
The series will be produced bi-lingually in English and Welsh and focuses on a fun-loving hairy family who in live in Hairyland.
