Based out of the London office, Sopkova will take up her new post with immediate effect.
The new recruit joins from Classic Media (formerly Entertainment Rights) where she held the position of territory manager for central and eastern Europe.
Reporting to Loonland´s head of International Distribution, Justine Bannister, Sopkova will be responsible for driving TV and home entertainment sales of the portfolio within Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, Benelux, Greece, Turkey, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia (excluding Japan).
Additional responsibilities include working with Loonland´s head of Licensing & Merchandising, Bernd Conrad, on the placement of licensing agents for the key brands in the aforementioned territories.
