Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products is readying for the launch of a multi-category global licensing programme for Sons of Anarchy.
The roster will feature a plethora of new branded merchandise including apparel, publishing, cigars and accessories.
The latest deals for the popular FX show – scheduled to make its return to screen this month – brings the total number of licensees to over 60 worldwide.
Leading its apparel collection will be Metal Mulisha with a collection of men’s and ladies’ apparel, rolling out to coincide with the launch of the final season of the show this year.
Changes will also have a range of clothing and accessories available at mass and speciality retailers nationwide.
In publishing, Fox has signed with time, Inc. for the Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector’s Edition, Boom Comics for a comic collection, St. Martin’s Press for an original novel and Running Press Books for the Sons of Anarchy: Live to Ride quote and image book.
In toys and games, Gale Force Nine has developed a Sons of Anarchy: Men of Mayhem board game, while Mezco Tiys has a range of action figures and bobble heads.
Elsewhere, Cigars International will deliver a limited edition line of cigars, Zippo will develop collectible lighters and Segal Fine Art will bring limited edition canvas prints to the fore.
“The Sons of Anarchy licensing programme has produced more than 60 hugely successful licensee partnerships since 2010 and we have partnered with top new licnesees to deliver an array of product offerings that will no doubt satiate fans,” said Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox Consumer Products.
“We are proud to add Metal Mulisha to our partnership line-up, which represents placement in first-time national retailers. We are also excited to announce that following the success of the Cigars International partnership, we are introducing new cigars and innovative, hand carved collector’s boxes.”
The final season of Sons of Anarchy will premiere on Tuesday, September 9th.
