Bulldog Licensing has announced the launch of an official Panini sticker book for kids' TV short Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF.
The new 34-page album will cost just 99 pence, with packs of five stickers retailing at 35 pence each. There are 182 stickers to collect, featuring all of the TWF characters, as well as action shots and an exclusive 'thumble' sticker of each wrestler, designed to fit snugly around the average thumb.
To promote the book, Panini is launching a series of TV adverts, as well as posting a viral campaign on the internet.
The album is also set to be given away in special issues of Toxic Magazine and the News of the World.
In addition, Panini is offering a competition to win a trip to New York. Budding thumb wrestlers are being asked to design a character to be used in series five, with the winning entrant being flown to the US city where they will watch their character made into reality.
"This competition is the icing on the cake from Panini," said Rob Corney, Bulldog's MD. "It is a truly fantastic prize that reflects the popularity of this amazing brand."
Mark Warsop, marketing director at Panini, added: "TWF is absolutely unique and the range of characters makes it a perfect collectable. The reaction we have had so far has been phenomenal and kids are going crazy for the thumble stickers in particular."
