UL's consumer products group is to host a special licensing industry open day on Thursday, April 3rd at its new facility at Winnersh Triangle Business Park in Berkshire.

The day will give those in the industry an opportunity to discover more about UL and its expanded capabilities following the relocation of the Reading laboratory to a purpose built facility.

A series of seminars will be held offering insights into supply chain management, compliance and risk mitigation.

In addition, keynote presentations will be given by Tahir Basheer of Sheridans with an overview of the legal aspects of licensing such as IP and brand protection, while LIMA's Kelvyn Gardner will give an overview of the trade body's role within the industry.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the new laboratories and participate in a networking lunch.

To register for the day or to find out more information on how UL could work with your company, contact Matthew Thorpe or Mark Randall on 0118 927 3340 or email QAenquiries@ul.com.
