US: Allure magazine unveils branded selfie cases

The US beauty magazine is expanding its licensed offering by partnering with Case-Mate for a line of new selfie cases.

US beauty magazine Allure has teamed up with smartphone accessories designer Case-Mate to launch an exclusive line of co-branded selfie cases.

The Allure x Case-Mate selfie case offers adjustable lighting, instant-impact drop protection, a built-in ring holder and can take up to 2,000 selfies on one full charge.

"Expanding and diversifying our business through licensing and e-commerce opportunities is an integral part of our overall brand strategy," said Agnes Chapski, publisher and chief revenue officer at Allure.

"With the Case-Mate collaboration, we're able to venture into new territories that make sense for both the Allure consumer and our brand partners."

The case will be available in three colours for fans to enjoy, including black, iridescent, and rose gold.

Priced at $70, users will be able to snap up the case from select retailers across the US and Canada beginning in March.
