Big Tent Entertainment has agreed a deal with Accutime Watch Corp for a line of Domo watches and clocks in the US and Canada.
The Domo Time line will be designed for men, women and children, and ranges are expected to land in department and speciality stores in 2014.
“Domo is already a big part of teen and young adult fashion, making an appearance on a wide range of apparel and accessories,” said Rich Collins, CEO of Big Tent Entertainment.
“This agreement extends Domo’s reach and appeal as must-have fashionware and introduces everyday products for fans who love to wake up and go to bed with Domo by their side.”
Domo began life as a mascot for the Japanese broadcaster NHK but now appears in a product line that ranges from plush toys to backpacks.
“Our goal with the Domo Time collection is to develop a line of watches utilising the iconic and fun character in many different interpretations,” said Harold Kirshner, senior VP of marketing and licensing.
