US: Bonilla is new creative man at Nick

Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group hires senior VP for creative strategy.

A 15-year veteran in the advertising and branding markets, Gary Bonilla has been appointed to the new position of senior VP of creative strategy for Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group.

Bonilla's primary responsibilities will include managing the creative development of Nickelodeon's consumer products business, developing strategies around consumer experiences and ensuring the network's branded consumer products offerings 'exemplify' the Nick brand.

"Gary will be a terrific addition to our team with his experience in creative strategic planning for some of the world's top brands," said Russell Hicks, executive VP and executive creative director at Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids.

"His work with our designers will being a fresh perspective to the Nickelodeon brand, while ensuring consistency and excellence for our consumer product lines."
