CCI Entertainment and the Weekly Reader Publishing Group are to jointly develop and produce an array of content and products based on the Weekly Reader franchise.
The venture will build on the 105-year track record of Weekly Reader, which is a household name in the US and currently used an an education resource in over 300,000 classrooms, as well as being found in millions of homes.
A line of new concepts will be introduced to the market over the next few years. CCI is seeking manufacturing partners to create interactive merchandise that can extend the educational experince into leisure areas, including hobby play, home educational supplements and quality time activities.
