Themed 'The World of Eric Carle: What do you see?', each pad in the line is designed for a specific age group and includes a step by step 'how to' section.

There will initially be five available: The Very Hungry Caterpillar Activity Pad (ages five and up); Polar Bear, Polar Bear Painting Pads (three and up); Panda Bear, Panda Bear Paint Pads (four and up); Baby Bear, Baby Bear Sketch and Doodle Activity Pads (five and up); and Sketch and Tell Books (six and up).

Eric Carle has created over 70 children's books that have sold more than 84 million copies worldwide. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? was the first book Carle illustrated 40 years ago.

"These products were designed to be fun and educational, encouraging children to create while developing motor skills and the foundation for reading and writing," said Giulia Giovanelli, product manager at Canson.
