Rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen has partnered with FEA Merchandising to create his own EVH Brand Signature Striped Sneakers.
Fans of the star have been wearing homemade versions of the trainers that Van Halen wears on stage for almost two decades. They are modeled after his red, white and black striped Frankenstein guitar.
"So many people would ask me, where can I get a pair of those?" said Van Halen. "After hearing that for about 15 years, I figured they were something that people obviously wanted, so making them available and official seemed like a natural progression."
In addition to the red Frankenstein theme, the shoes are also available in white and black stripe (paying tribute to Van Halen's 1978 guitar) and black with yellow stripes (after the guitar on the back cover of the Van Halen II album). All three themes are available in high and low top versions.
