US: Game of Thrones new licensed merchandised revealed

HBO teams with numerous licensees to deliver range of figurines, puzzles, published titles and plush.

HBO has revealed a host of new licensed merchandise from its hit series, Game of Thrones.

The new lines were unveiled at San Diego Comic Convention.

The Game of Thrones Comic-Con Exclusive Pop Ned Stark Figurine is based on the character's final moments in the show.

Held together with two magnets, the figures head is removable, re-enacting the character's beheading.

Limited quantities of the figure are on sale at the network's booth at Comic-Con or available at the HBO online store - store.hbo.com.

A new line of figures arrive courtesy of Dark Horse Comics, featuring Jon snow and Daernerys Targaryen, slated for release next year.

Three additional figures - Tyrion Lannister, Khal Drogo and Ned Stark will follow in early May.

From Insight editions, the Game of thrones: A Pop-Up guide to Westeros features pop-up recreations of several key locations from the series, includng Winterfell, King's Landing and the Wall.

Furthermore, a 4D Puzzle Map of westeros will allow fans to build the fantasy setting, with three different layers and over 1200 jigsaw pieces.

The set includes miniature replica models of Westeros cities and castles. The set will be available this November.

Finally, a range of plush is scheduled for the run up to Christmas, featuring a range of soft Direwolf cubs.

2014 will see a range of three eyed ravens and dragon eggs hit retail.
