US: Global Icons jets in for Jacuzzi

Corporate brand development specialist ties up with bath and hot tub company.

Specialists in the extension of corporate brands and trademarks, Global Icons has reached a licensing deal with Jacuzzi Brands Corp, the market leader in the bath and hot tub industries.

Global Icons will now aim to extend Jacuzzi's reputation through a licensing programme which will pitch it as the 'all-in-one go-to place for the ultimate home spa experience'.

In addition, it will introduce a number of new branded categories including outdoor and patio, bath and spa accessories, home textiles and health and beauty.

"The Jacuzzi brand is known the world over as a mark of excellence and innovation," said Michelle Cervantez, chief marketing officer at Jacuzzi Brands. "With its tremendous goodwill and brand equity, we are looking to further expand the reach of the brand in ways that remain true to our core fundamentals.
