US: Hit Entertainment partners with Buddy Fruits for Thomas and Friends campaign

Thomas and Friends is steaming ahead with its mission to promote a healthy lifestyle, as Hit Entertainment partners with US firm Buddy Fruits.

The new deal will see a cross promotion featuring several Thomas and Friends-branded Buddy Fruits alongside a competition offering fans the chance to win a Thomas and Friends room makeover, worth $2,000.

The Buddy Fruits line – a collection of squeezable fruit pouches committed to delivering nutrition to families – will feature Thomas and Friends artwork along with information about the sweepstakes that will grant two grand prize winners the total room makeover.

Furthermore, each week of the promotion – running from March 1st through to May 31st – consumers will have the chance to win family four packs of tickets to the Day Out with Thomas: The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014.

The new partnership will be promoted with a digital campaign and across Buddy Fruit’s social media platforms and website.

In addition, the promotion will be featured on Buddy Fruits retail display and packaging for its blended fruit smoothies.

Consumers can enter the Thomas and Friends sweepstakes by visiting the Buddy Fruit Facebook page where they will also be able to download a coupon for a $2 discount on any in-store purchase of the Thomas and Friends: Spills and Thrills DVD.
