Hit Entertainment has united its consumer products, home entertainment, live events, marketing and retail development for the Americas into one division - while also revealing a number of key appointments and promotions.
Gary Krakower has been named senior VP of US licensing and live events and will oversee all consumer products licensing and attractions, stage shows and live events for Hit's portfolio of pre-school brands. Krakower was previously senior VP of business development at Hit.
Jeff Deverett arrives from Anchor Bay Entertainment to serve as senior VP of home entertainment. He has more than 20 years of experience in home entertainment and film production.
EJ Minor has become VP of US retail development and marketing. Prior to this, he was VP of marketing for Hit ToyCo, where he launched the Thomas & Friends Trackmaster train system.
Andrea Carpenter, meanwhile, has been promoted to VP of Canada, while Gabriela Arenas takes on the role of VP of consumer products and retail development, Latin America.
Finally, Rodrigo Piza, VP of broadcast for Canada, Latin America and Hispanic US will add Latin American live events and sponsorships to his responsibilities.
All the executives will report to Pam Westman, executive VP of consumer products and home entertainment for The Americas.
