Mattel and the Indy Racing League - the sanctioning body for the IndyCar series - have sealed a four-year licensing deal which will see product created around the series' drivers and teams, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway race course and the world's largest single-day sporting event, the Indianapolis 500.
The exclusive licensed product line will include 1:64 and 1:24 scale Hot Wheels Indy Car series assortment die-cast cars (showcasing a number of the drivers and teams); kid-powered 1:12 scale Hot Wheels Indy Car series Big Sounds cars with racing sounds; plus 1:16 scale Tyco r/c.
As well as at retail, product will also be available trackside at all Indy Car series races and online.
