Canadian firm Breakthrough Animation Production has revealed that its Jimmy Two Shoes property has been licensed by the Jetix programming block in the US.
The block, which airs on Toon Disney, has picked up US cable television broadcast rights for the show, which follows a tirelessly enthusiastic kid who makes it his mission to find fun everywhere he goes.
Jetix US has acquired 26, half hour episodes. The series will also broadcast on Teletoon in Canada and Jetix Europe early next year.
"Jimmy Two Shoes is a unique series that has benefited from the unorthodox approach of having a whole creative team from writers to actors to artists step outside the conventional storytelling process," said Kevin Gillis, executive producer at Breakthrough Animation.
"This, combined with the support and vision of our broadcasters, promises to be a fresh, new entertainment experience for kids on many platforms and levels."
