A number of changes have been made at senior management level at Corus Entertainment.

From September 2nd, John Cassaday will take on operating responsibility for Corus Radio on an interim basis. This is in addition to his current role as president and CEO. The change follows the announcement in July that John Hayes will step down as president of Corus Radio on August 31st.

Going forward, Mario Cecchini, Chris Pandoff, Doug Rutherford and Bryan Ellis, who will become VPs for Quebec, Ontario, the West and Planning respectively, will report directly to Cassaday.

Meanwhile, from August 5th Scott Dyer will take on the role of chief technology officer for the company, again reporting to Cassaday.

On the same date, Doug Murphy will assume the role of president, Nelvana EVP and general manager of Corus Kids, reporting to Paul Robertson, the president of Corus Television.

He will oversee all of the company's kids business globally, including YTV, Treehouse, Discovery Kids, Nelvana, KidsCo, Qubo and Kids Can Press.
