The session on December 17th will be hosted by Mary Pat Gillin of NBA Entertainment and Rick Van Brimmer of Ohio State University.
The discussion will look at the opportunities offered by the sports and collegiate markets, as well as some of the unique aspects of this business category, including the use of multiple licenses on a single product and the rules around using player names and images.
Mary Pat Gillin is vice president of licensing for the National Basketball Association. Gillin manages the licensing of a variety of non-apparel categories and assists in securing new business globally for the NBA.
As director of Trademark and Licensing Services at The Ohio State University, webinar co-host Rick Van Brimmer oversees the university's multi-million dollar international licensing program, which covers more than 500 product licenses.
