LA-based design studio Mighty Fine is heading to MAGIC Marketplace next month, and is planning to unveil a number of new collaborations and designs.
The firm will be going for a 1960's bohemian vibe with a 'Vote for Love' campaign during the show.
New label Imaginary People will be making its debut. Aimed at 16-24 year-olds, the brand incorporates collaborations with famous brands and characters, using unique treatments to create a stylish, affordable product.
The label launches with key collaborations including Anthill Trading, Marvel, Hello Kitty, Spongebob Squarepants, Hot Wheels and Sesame Street.
It will be available from February 2009.
Mighty Fine's music initiative will spread into the toddler sector, with Mini Fine launching Anthill Trading properties including Blondie, ACDC and Run DMC. Tie ups are also planned with Sesame Street, Disney and Yo Gabba Gabba, plus Garfield, Peanuts and Hello Kitty in the tween sector.
In addition, there will be a tie up with Harper's Bizarre, Optive 80's, Paramount Movies (producing movie tees for men and juniors), Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Spongebob Squarepants.
