US: Moda speaks up

Firm brokers agreement for new line of wireless outdoor/indoor speakers under Jensen brand name.

The New York-based licensing agency Moda International Marketing has brokered a deal between Mark Feldstein & Associates and Audiovox to develop a series of Wireless Outdoor/Indoor speakers under the Jensen brand name.

The new speakers will be shown off for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January 2009.

They are the latest in a line of innovative gift items from MFA, including themed-sound clocks licensed by a variety of companies including General Motors, Harley-Davidson, John Deere, Ford and Thomas Kindkade.

"The recognition of the Jensen brand in conjunction with the outdoor speaker wireless technology provides opportunity for consumers to now enjoy superior quality sound right in their own backyards," said Michelle Alfandari, president of Moda. "Given the trend toward 'staycations' this line is positioned to do very well at retail."
