US: Nelvana inks new video on demand deal

Canadian-based distributor gives VOD rights to episodes from its kids content library to ReelTime.

Video on demand internet TV network ReelTime has secured an agreement with Nelvana Enterprises for the VOD rights to episodes from its extensive kids content library.

The news was revealed at NATPE in Las Vegas. Among the titles from Nelvana's portfolio that will be available on are Jacob Two-Two, Rupert, My Dad the Rock Star, Marvin the Tap-Dancing Horse and Flying Rhino Junior High, to name just a few.

Founded in 1971, Nelvana is made up of two divisions. Nelvana Studios develops and produces animated content from its production facility in Toronto.
