Interactive entertainment company Ludia and FremantleMedia Enterprises have launched The Price is Right game on the Apple App Store.
The move means that iPhone and iPod Touch owners will be able to download the game, which is based on the TV game show. It includes three game modes - Three Strikes, Classic Game and Party Game - plus 16 pricing games, including Plinko and Cliffhangers, a personal trophy room where players can track winnings and theme music, game sounds and announcer audio featuring Rich Fields.
"After more than 35 years The Price is Right remains one of the most successful game shows in history, and it's very exciting to expand The Price is Right experience to revolutionary products like iPhone and iPod Touch," said David Luner, senior VP of interactive and consumer products at FME, North America.
Ludia's founder and CEO, Alec Thabet, added: "We are thrilled to bring The Price is Right to such truly groundbreaking devices."
