Comic book legend Stan Lee and his production company Pow Entertainment will be working with Disney on three projects, according to internet reports.
They will be based on stories and ideas from Lee and will be created for the screen rather than comic books.
Nick Ratchet will revolve around the exploits of a private eye, Blaze is an action-adventure project and Tigress (working title) is apparently about a woman who starts getting tiger-like instincts.
The three projects are part of an exclusive first-look deal signed by Lee, Pow Entertainment and Disney last summer.
Lee was quoted on the Hollywood Reporter website as saying the projects were intended to be tentpoles with franchise potential. The first instalments will serve as an 'origin' story, laying out the mythology of the plot and characters.
