Kids' watches based on hit book The Little Prince will arrive in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Lawless Entertainment signed the deal with Montrichard Limited, which will develop watches using art from The Little Prince.
"With a wealth of experience in Europe, we are convinced that The Little Prince watches will be a success in the United States,” said Eric Edery, Partner at Method Films/Managing Director at Propertiz Licensing.
Remi Chabrat, CEO of Montrichard Group, added: "As a leader in the US kids watch industry, we believe that the Little Prince will offer great opportunities to retailers’ assortments.
"This French book remains one of the most widely read books for kids around the world. The titular character, the Little Prince, continues to attract children of all ages and the production of an exclusive kids’ watch collection is a reflection of the character’s timelessness and universal appeal."
Cathy Malatesta, President of Lawless Entertainment, commented: "Lawless Entertainment is thrilled to see the addition of The Little Prince watches in the US, Canada and Mexico."
The Little Prince was first published in 1943 and has been translated into more than 250 languages and dialects since, with sales of more than 200 million copies worldwide to date.
