The Toy Industry Association has presented its annual Toy of the Year awards and Hall of Fame induction ceremony at New York Toy Fair.
The event - which was held at Pier 60/Chelsea Piers - was attended by over 450 guests and awarded companies in 11 categories with nearly 75 unique products nominated.
The big winner was Spin Master, which picked up the accolade for Toy of the Year for its Bakguan Brawlers Battle Pack Series 1 Spheres. The product was also Boy Toy of the Year.
Other winners included Fisher-Price in the Infant/Pre-school category for Elmo Live; Hasbro in Eelectronic Entertainment for FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin' Pup; and LeapFrog TAG Reading System in Education.
In addition, Bakugan Battle Brawlers was named the Property of the Year.
Meanwhile, Joan Ganz Cooney, the force behind the creation of the Children's Television Workshop, was inducted into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame.
