Licensed 2 Thrill, Kneerim & Williams and The Castle Group, have been named as the new team of companies to market WonderWorld Entertainment’s children’s entertainment properties.
These relationships mark a turning point for the company as it embarks on expanding its media reach through the creation of a new interactive website, WonderWorldTV.com.
Boston-based literary agency Kneerim & Williams will facilitate the development of a “Ribert & Robert” book series written by Scott Guy. Guy has penned books for a range of children’s properties, including Clifford the Big Red Dog and Dragon Tales.
The Castle Group, a Boston-based independent public relations, events management and incentive agency, is providing PR and marketing services for the firm as the company prepares for the launch of the website.
The Castle Group aims to strengthen awareness among television broadcasters, reinforce viewership in current broadcast areas and maximize web traffic around the launch.
The partnership with Licensed 2 Thrill was announced earlier this month and the firm has already begun efforts to increase television carriage for “Ribert & Robert’s WonderWorld” and to establish strategic corporate partners for sponsorship, promotional and licensing opportunities for the upcoming website launch.
Ed Capezzuto, senior vice president and general manager for WonderWorld Entertainment said: “The success of ‘Ribert & Robert’ has allowed us to expand our efforts and broaden our reach.
“We’re excited to continue entertaining children through ‘Ribert & Robert’ and anxious to launch WonderWorldTV.com, which will touch more children’s lives in an online, virtual environment. These new business partnerships are representative of the momentum of WonderWorld Entertainment.”
