Saban Brands has significantly bolstered its team as it looks to make a mark in the licensing business - including the hiring of former Cookie Jar EVP of worldwide consumer products and marketing, Kirk Bloomgarden.
Bloomgarden takes on the role of senior vice president of international licensing, with his remit including the expansion of overseas business.
He is joined by Nina Leong, who will be senior VP of licensing, responsible for overseeing all current licensed products and programmes, as well as developing partnerships with new licensees.
She has over 20 years of industry experience, including a successful 11-year spell at Disney Consumer Products.
David Shuman becomes VP of finance. He has previously worked with Live Nation and Fox Family Worldwide.
Finally, Rami Yanni becomes senior vice president of business and legal affairs, responsible for all contractual, IP and compliance matters for the company.
"We are thrilled to be adding four individuals with such exceptional experience in their fields to our team," said Elie Dekel, president of Saban Brands. "We feel confident in their abilities to enhance our business operations and drive Saban Brands' ongoing success."
